We provide
The package will vary depending on:
- the type of installation
- is it new build, or an existing building
- number of WC's
- area of country (ie typical annual rainfall)
However, in general terms, we will supply the following:
- the main storage tank (to be fitted below ground or above ground)
- a pump to be used in the tank
- floating inlet connected to the pump
- all the connectors etc needed within the tank, ready to be connected
the pump to be connected to the socket on the control panel
the rainwater to be connected to the control panel
an overflow for excess rainwater, to be connected to the drain or soakaway
- the header tank (standard 25 gallons nominal) pre-fitted with:
connector for rain water
high and low level sensors/switches to control rain water flow with a socket fitted for easy connection to the control panel
connector for back-up mains water with mechanical flow control
mandatory WRAS-compliant air gap and weir overflow
- the Control panel. This comprises a panel on which are mounted:
control box (see next point)
rain water meter, ready for connection to the pump in the main storage tank, and to the header tank)
main water meter, ready for connection to mains water supply, and to the header tank)
- The control box, which is already fully-wired, ready for connection to:
mains electricity
the pump
the high and low level sensors/switches in the header tank
- Labels to be affixed to the rain water pipes saying that the water is not potable (ie non-drinking)
- Full instructions
All items on the Control Panel and Header Tank are clearly labelled for ease of connection.
